Ann Shipley graduated from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in History, minor in English. She was involved with the Historical Society, serving as President, as well as Phi Alpha Theta as Vice President. Ann was also highly involved in Residence Life and was pleasantly surprised to earn the Residence Life Top Female Academic 2014. One of her favorite experiences while an undergraduate was her study abroad experience at Edge Hill University in England.
As an incoming Graduate Student, Ann aims to study 20th Century American Gender Studies, especially Women’s History. In her spare time Ann enjoys hiking and backpacking, photography, and drinking the same amount of tea daily as any loyal (wannabe) British citizen.
