James Esposito

James graduated from Temple University with a BA in History in 2011. His capstone thesis was an analysis of British counter-insurgency tactics and the legacy of divide and rule during the Malayan Emergency. At Villanova his research interest concentrates on the link between decolonization and politics of the far right in Great Britain during the 1950s. Prior to joining Villanova he worked in technology and elementary education. James has also worked in web design and iOS software development. Since 2012, he has volunteered at the German Society of Pennsylvania’s Horner Library, where he has assisted the ongoing renovation and upgrade of library facilities including the cataloging of rare German-American books, manuscripts, and newspaper materials. His hobbies include old cars, New German Cinema, and his dog. He can be contacted by email.
